How It Works
See the Options. Understand the Service. Decide with Confidence.
Begin with CARTRIA®, your point of contact for consultation and a coordinated introduction to Grapevine. Grapevine provides the purchasing platform, live purchasing-agent support, and account onboarding.
1. Discuss Your Practice’s Needs
Talk with CARTRIA® about your current suppliers, contracts, frequently ordered products, and purchasing priorities. Identify the challenges your team wants to address, whether comparing prices, locating supplies, or simplifying ordering.
2. See the Platform in Action
CARTRIA® arranges a personalized demonstration with Grapevine. Review supplier account compatibility, purchasing records, and the permissions needed to begin.
During onboarding, confirm individual user access, staff training, and how billing and shipping accounts should be organized across your locations or departments. Discuss importing existing shopping lists so your team can begin with familiar products.
3. Evaluate Products and Pricing
Grapevine displays live pricing from connected supplier accounts, including applicable contracted and group purchasing rates.
Search by product or SKU, then review descriptions, manufacturer identifiers, specifications, quantities, and pack sizes. Compare identical products on a consistent cost-per-unit basis.
4. Check Availability and Product Preferences
Grapevine considers both price and fulfillment. If the lowest-cost supplier cannot deliver an item, the platform surfaces the next-lowest-cost available option.
Product pages let your team review exact matches and proposed substitutes across suppliers. You can select a preferred brand or manufacturer rather than accept the first option shown. Your practice remains responsible for verifying suitability and approving substitutions.
5. Build Your Cart and Authorize Orders
Add approved products to your cart, review your selections, and proceed to checkout. Grapevine submits orders on your practice’s explicit instructions. Purchases remain between your practice and the supplier.
Review available purchasing history and spending information, and confirm how delivery questions, returns, and supplier issues will be handled.
A Live Purchasing Agent, Alongside the Platform
Technology is one part of the service. Grapevine also provides personal purchasing support from a dedicated agent who works with your team on supplier communication and cost-saving opportunities.
At Valley Cancer Associates, Grapevine assigned a dedicated purchasing agent, supported by team members handling product questions, orders, and account logistics. This gives the practice a person to contact alongside the online platform.
During your CARTRIA®-coordinated demonstration, confirm how purchasing-agent support would be structured for your practice, including responsibilities and communication arrangements.
Understand Purchasing and Data Responsibilities
Purchasing decisions remain with your practice. Grapevine acts as a purchasing agent rather than the seller of the products. Availability and delivery are not guaranteed. Product warranties and supplier obligations remain with the applicable supplier.
Review information before ordering. Product and purchasing data may contain errors or omissions. Verify descriptions, specifications, quantities, pack sizes, and delivery information relevant to your purchase.
Review Grapevine’s complete terms of service and privacy policy before enrollment. This page summarizes selected aspects of the service and does not replace the documents governing Grapevine’s platform and services.
